Collier Hills Homes
Drawing upon a deep history traced all the way back to the Collier family during the Civil War, Collier Hills remains a quaint and cozy neighborhood just west of Peachtree. The historic homes in the area mix nicely with mixed use space home to urbanized lofts and condos. Most homes in the area are cottage style by designer Herbert W. Nicholes, but larger homes do appear throughout as renovations and new development continue.
The neighborhood provides yards filled with trees—some oaks dating back over 100 years. Neighborhood parks like Tanyard Creek, Ardmore, and Atlanta Memorial provide outdoor entertainment, summer soccer games, and fall tee ball. Speaking of tees, the neighborhood is home to the historic Bobby Jones Golf Course as well as the Bitsy Grant Tennis Center.
Some of the most sought after public schools serve the area including Morris Brandon Elementary School, E. River Elementary, Sutton Middle School, and Northside High School—making this an ideal neighborhood for families. In addition, you are just minutes to midtown and all the arts, culture, and fine dining of that area and just a quick drive north to Buckhead and all the shopping opportunities you could ever want!
